myBalido (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates a discovery platform that connects people looking for activities, classes and schools in Bali with independent providers (“Providers”, “schools”, “organisations”). These Terms of Service and Privacy Policy govern your use of our website and services.
1. About our service
myBalido helps you discover activities and contact Providers directly. We do not process bookings or payments in the app. When you press “Contact provider”, your request is forwarded to the Provider and, where relevant, made visible in their admin panel. Any agreement, payment, schedule or cancellation terms are between you and the Provider.
2. User accounts
You may sign up with email and password or through Google OAuth. You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials safe. You must be at least 18 years old, or use the service under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the platform, including: posting false or misleading information, harassing Providers or other users, attempting to access accounts or data that are not yours, uploading harmful files, or using automated means to scrape content without permission.
4. Provider terms
Providers may list schools and activities after our review. Listings must be truthful, lawful and owned by the Provider or properly licensed. We reserve the right to approve, reject, edit, hide or remove any listing. Providers are responsible for the accuracy of their descriptions, prices, schedules, locations, cancellation policies and for responding to customer inquiries.
5. Content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of content you upload. By uploading photos, descriptions or documents you grant myBalido a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display that content on the platform for the purpose of operating and promoting the service. You must not upload content that infringes third-party rights.
6. Reviews and communications
Communications sent through myBalido, including contact requests and intent selections, may be stored and monitored for quality, safety and analytics. We may remove reviews or messages that violate these terms.
7. Payments, bookings and cancellations
myBalido does not handle payments. Any booking, deposit or payment arrangement is made directly between you and the Provider. Cancellation and refund rules are set by each Provider and shown on the activity page where provided. We encourage you to confirm payment terms, schedules and cancellation policies with the Provider before attending.
8. Limitation of liability
We work to keep information accurate, but we do not guarantee the completeness, reliability or availability of any listing. myBalido is not liable for disputes, injuries, losses or damages arising from your interaction with a Provider or participation in an activity. You use the platform at your own risk.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account or remove content if you breach these terms or if required by law. You may delete your account at any time from your profile; deletion is permanent and will remove your personal data and saved favorites, subject to legal retention requirements.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Bali, Indonesia.
11. Privacy Policy
11.1 Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly (name, email, WhatsApp number, inquiry intent, profile details), information created automatically when you use the service (IP address, device and browser type, pages visited, search queries, location if you choose to share it), and information from third-party authentication services such as Google when you sign in through OAuth.
11.2 How we use your information
We use your data to operate the platform, display relevant activities, forward contact requests to Providers, communicate with you, improve our service, ensure security, and comply with legal obligations. If you contact a Provider, we share the details necessary for the Provider to respond, such as your name, contact method and inquiry intent.
11.3 Legal basis
We process personal data based on your consent, the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interest in operating and improving the platform, and compliance with applicable laws.
11.4 Data sharing
We share limited data with Providers to enable them to respond to your inquiries. We use trusted service providers for hosting, authentication, analytics and email delivery. We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights or users’ safety.
11.5 Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and understand how the platform is used. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
11.6 Data retention and security
We keep your personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described here, or as required by law. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, but no online service can guarantee complete security.
11.7 Your rights

11.8 Children’s privacy
The platform is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update these Terms of Service and Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, and continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the updated terms.
